Our MYRRH SELECT is a premium quality Myrrh – a real step above the usual quality. This version contains beautiful Myrrh resin pieces, with the occasional piece of resinous bark – straight from the plant. MYRRH is the oleoresin of the Commiphora myrrha shrub, known to be used as incense for more than 3500 years, and was the basis of many early perfumes. The aroma is spicy and delicate, and is considered to be profoundly calming and restorative. Myrrh mixes well with Frankincense, which is why the two are often found as a pair.
