CRUSHED WHITE SAGE Leaves can be used as incense or even with natural pot pourri to scent a room. Burn the leaves as incense over charcoal tablets (or a candle warmed censer) as you would resin incense such as Frankincense. As it heats the beautiful, cleansing scent of desert sage will be released through the fragrant smoke – use as an alternative to white sage smudge sticks. Grown in California, cut straight from the bush and allowed to dry naturally.

WHITE SAGE has been traditionally used in Smudging to purify the mind, body and spirit before praying, to cleanse the atmosphere and disperse negativity – sage is believed by many to be a masculine plant that can reduce or eliminate negative energy; some place sage at doorways for protection against evil. Today, it can be used to purify homes, offices or other spaces; the smell of sage will remind you of the desert and the sacredness of life.
