FRANKINCENSE is an oleoresin from Boswellia carterii and Boswellia thurifera trees, originating from the Middle East and Somalia. In Ancient Egypt Frankincense was worth more than its weight in gold – the aroma is spicy and lemony, thought to elevate the mind and expand spiritual consciousness, perfect for meditation.

MYRRH is the oleoresin of the Commiphora myrrha shrub, used as incense for more than 3500 years, and was the basis of many early perfumes. The aroma is spicy and delicate, with a balsamic undertone, and is considered to be profoundly calming and restorative.

These high quality natural resin incense pieces can be burned for their natural scent, either over a charcoal disk or using a candle warmed censer (burner). Each pack contains small resin pieces and an amount of resin powder. As you only need to use a couple of pieces, or a pinch at a time, each pack will last for many burning sessions.
