Discontinued Item. See our CLEARANCE section for more pendants.
Our pewter pendants are made from fine, lead-free / nickel-free pewter and come with an adjustable black waxed cotton cord so may be worn at a short or longer length – just slide the knots along the cord to adjust. Long lasting and suitable for both males and females.
These ‘Celtic Raised Triskele’ design pendants are approx 27mm in length from ring to tip, and approx 26mm at the widest. The ‘guitar pick’ shaped pendant is made from solid pewter with a raised Celtic ‘triskele’ design.
A triskelion or triskele is a motif consisting of three interlocked spirals, or three bent human legs, or any similar symbol with three protrusions and a threefold rotational symmetry. Although it appears in many places and periods, it is especially characteristic of the Celtic art of the La Tène culture of the European Iron Age. The Triskele is found in much Celtic artwork, is used by Celtic Reconstructionists and occasionally as a Christian Trinity symbol.
