Incense Burner – ELEPHANT ON LOTUS, Brown

These Elephant design burners are completely handmade by Prajapatis, a Newari tribe living in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The elephant is a sign of strength and power, standing on a round base plate with a lotus design. Features tree holes: a larger sized hole in the centre of the elephant’s back to hold dhoop sticks, and two smaller holes along the back to hold standard Indian sticks with an inner bamboo skewer – burn up to two Indian sticks at a time.

Size: base plate approx 8.5cm diameter, height approx 7cm from base to tip of trunk, handmade terracotta clay with brown glaze, made in Nepal. Being handmade dimensions may vary slightly, and each piece will feature unique imperfections, making every burner individual. Incense not included – available separately.
