  • Each pack contains 6 incense-filled charcoal Smudge Cups, plus a metal burning plate and ceramic heat disc. Photos are an indication only and as they are handmade, each cup may include more or less resin than pictured.

Banjara’s Tribal Smudge Cups are a beautiful way to burn resins or botanicals for smudging purposes, or just for their stunning natural scents. Similar to burning resins on charcoal tablets, smudge cups already include an amount of natural resin or botanicals set in the indentation of each charcoal cup, ready to burn.

The scent of FRANKINCENSE is one of the most revered scents in history: in Ancient Egypt Frankincense was worth more than its weight in gold. The aroma is clean and lemony, with a distinct fresh Frankincense aroma that compares to nothing else. Frankincense is thought to elevate the mind and expand spiritual consciousness, assist calm breathing making it perfect for meditation, stress or relaxation, and mixes well with other resins, in particular Myrrh, which brings a deep balsamic scent to the blend.

HOW TO USE
Just hold a flame to the rim of the cup and once it is ignited work your way around the rest of the rim until the charcoal is gently glowing and continuing to spread its heat over the rest of the cup (this may take a minute or two). Carefully place the cup onto the included metal plate with the ceramic heat disc beneath – best burned on a heatproof plate, censer or smudge pot as the charcoal will become red hot during use.

As the cup heats up, the resins will naturally release their fragrant smoke, cleansing your space and creating a naturally soothing atmosphere. Available in a range of resins, each pack contains six 2.5 – 3cm diameter charcoal cups

Made in India. See our other listings for more scents.

BURNING INCENSE: Never leave burning incense unattended and always keep out of reach of children or pets – charcoal and incense can become very hot during use. Always burn on a heat-proof surface, and safely dispose of ash only once it has cooled.
