This gift pack includes everything you need to delve into the beautiful world of Nepalese Rope Incense, whether as a gift or as a starter pack for yourself. Each Gift Pack includes a handmade freetrade Rope Burner Dish that can also be used for incense sticks, and three packs of Nepalese Rope Incense. Choose the scents to suit your tastes before adding it to your cart – three scent options available, each containing THREE packs of Nepalese Rope along with the Burner Dish:

WHAT IS ROPE INCENSE?
This unique incense is handmade in Nepal using traditional methods passed from generation to generation: finely powdered dried botanicals & herbs are wrapped in hand-prepared lokta paper and braided to form a soft, rope-like dhoop stick. Light one end and once alight, blow out the flame to allow to smoulder and release its aromatic smoke. Rest the lit stick the burner dish and dispose of the ash once cooled. Each pack of Rope Incense contains approx 40-45 x 8-9cm sticks (three full packs of Rope included for a total of 120 – 135 sticks). Handmade in Nepal.

The included multipurpose clay incense burner suits Rope Incense which can be laid around the curved outer rim of the dish, or can also be used for standard Indian sticks or the larger centre hole for dhoop sticks such as our Ancient Tibetan Dhoop. A beautifully simple design with a lovely weight, they are handmade in Nepal by cottage industries that support the development of small enterprises for women and the underprivileged. Approx 9cm diameter, hand finished with a brown stain. Being handmade dimensions may vary slightly, and each piece will feature unique imperfections in the design and stain, making every burner individual.
